Vidalita is a Spanish word that means "little vidala" and is a diminutive of the word vidala, which comes from the Spanish word vida, meaning "life". In Argentina, vidalita is a folk song from the northwest region that is a popular romantic song or a sad love song. In this arrangement, the melody is shared with all sections of the orchestra with various opportunities to explore different playing techniques like staccato, pizzicato, tremolo, and much more.
