In Argentina, vidalita is a folk song from the northwest region that is a popular romantic song or a sad love song. In this arrangement, the melody is shared with all sections of the orchestra with various opportunities to explore different playing techniques like staccato, pizzicato, tremolo, and much more. There is also a violin and cello solo towards the end of the piece to showcase your advanced players. Optional guitar and harp parts adds to the Argentine folk feel.
