“The Silver Screen” – Family Pops Concert

The Alhambra Orchestra, with guest conductor Nicolas Repetto--an up-and-coming film composer from South Florida -- invites the public to visit beautiful Pinecrest Gardens for a lively concert of movie music. Current and classic film and video game themes will be performed by our full symphony orchestra. You’ll recognize a medley of themes by John Williams (the Star Wars composer), music from Pirates of the Caribbean and Phantom of the Opera, plus themes from the video game Uncharted, and hear selections by top young film composers including Mr. Repetto. Bring the whole family to this uplifting event, co-sponsored by Pinecrest Gardens. The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, supporting classical music and music education.
